BILES is the most recent moniker for my on-going exploration of harsh noise and death industrial. I have been utilising power electronics, sampling and pedal noise for the last 12 years, sometimes on their own but often within the context of a bigger musical project. The BILES project emerged from some challenging mental health experiences I underwent in 2016, and was designed as means of finding healing and meaning through jarring and confronting soundscapes. It continues as an extension of my creative pursuit to comprehend the workings of my mind and my soul.
